My snow study. It was great noodling around! Environments are definitely something that I need to work on. I figured it also would be a good opportunity to try out Grzegorz Rutkowski textured brush set I have seen floating around recently.

Small Gouache paintings
These are a couple 4x6 gouache paintings I did of Thor, and Boba Fett!
Experiment
Experiment trying to execute digital like charcoal.
There was a character design contest that was themed Gladiators. I chose to do a Byzantine Emperor's Varangian Guard Champion. I know the games were out of style by this time, but I thought it would be fun to design.
Sargent Study before bed
My wannabe quick master study before bed. I definitely have to train my hand to have a more subtle touch. Sometimes it feels like I am murdering my paper haha.
Ghost Rider Acryla-Gouche experiment!
Listened to Motorhead while painting this guy. Ghostrider acryla-gouache experiment. First time messing with the medium.

Portrait Practice
A friend of mine Michael Danko was nice enough to sit down for a couple hours portrait practice. Had him watch a movie so It would not get boring for him. This is the first time I tried doing a digital painting from someone actually sitting in front of me. It was admittedly a pretty ghetto set up haha. I ended up finishing from a photograph because I did not want to torture the guy.
Roberto Ferri Study
Roberto Ferri Study. I specifically chose this piece as a practice for a future image I am going to work on. I love the skin tone, and rendering in his images.
Start of a new art habit!
Daily color, value, and composition warm up. These are from yesterday, and today. I tried to eye the colors, and values as well as I could in a limited time. Both of these were an hour. I figure it is a good habit to start.
Pru'dhon master study
A Pru'dhon master study done in charcoal, and white pastel. Drawn on grey tone paper.
My submission to EXPOSÉ 12

A couple of Marker inked drawings
These are a couple of Marker inked drawings from last week. They were just warm up sketches so I decided to play around with them. I have never really used markers to ink. I definitely need little work.
Low-Key lighting master study
A low key master study of I Lucifer by Franz Von Stuck. I have always been fascinated by the glow of the eyes of this painting.
Some Gesture Studies from The ESPN bodies Issue
